The Delft Building-innovation Lab (DBL) is a state-of-the-art laboratory at which experimental research is conducted with a focus on the fields of building materials, climate systems, and structures. The activities focus on applied research and innovation.
The research groups Reliable Structures and Naval & Offshore Structures have a unique expertise on structural integrity. An important part of their research focuses on fatigue life prediction in steel and composite structures applied in infrastructure (bridges, rail profiles), renewables (support structures for wind turbines and solar energy), ship structures (civil and defence), oil and gas, and alternative fuel transport and storage (jackets, pipelines). Our fatigue research provides clients with answers on the integrity of components and is used for calibration and validation of fatigue life prediction parameters, for which TNO develops models on steel and composite components.
The purpose of this tender procedure is to select 1 contractor to supply a High Frequency Fatigue Test Rig. The supplies and the manner in which they are supplied must comply with the specifications and criteria given in the tender documents, and notably the Programme of Requirements.

The contract for the delivery of HFFTR relates to the provision of supplies and services as specified in the Programme of requirements and preferences as applicable.
